NSFW question

I had a question about NSFW. It's probably been asked before but I can't find it.

Currently I have a small game out but I plan on releasing a bigger game later this summer that is somewhat like it with the "mature content" featuring alot of vulgar language and mature situations like drug references and things like that but it contains no nudity at all. I don't know if Itch uses NSFW just for "adult games" as in porn games or if they mean NSFW for things like vulgar language and drug references but just to be safe the game I have up now is marked NSFW.

Thank you to whoever can answer

Hey, we currently don't have fine grained controls for marking adult content. I think the best approach for you is to put a disclaimer on the game page about the kind of content it includes. If the page itself doesn't advertise anything that might be seen inappropriate (images, title, text) etc. then you can leave off the NSFW setting. The NSFW option is used to filter things out of browse that people might not want to see when browsing the site.
