King's Comfort has a much moodier atmosphere, feels more '80s slasher whereas Northbury Grove is more like a visceral, grindhouse, '70s slasher vibe. (Although I will say KC was based on Michael Myers mannerisms in the stalking, and the sprinting in NG was more like Leatherface.)
