Can't see my game

I published the game more than 24 hours ago so I thought I'd post a topic. I read around and it says it should be up by 24 hours and if not, contact support. Any idea what's going on?

Yes. As mentioned  in the Search & Browse FAQ, that you were twice asked to read before being allowed to post here, games with a minimum price must be seen by an admin first, before showing in searches. There must have been a queue last time.

So its been almost four days now. I'm not really sure what to expect. There isn't anywhere that I can see a queue or how close my game is getting to the front of that queue. I can only presume the summer sale is having an effect.

It's possible. I'd recommend contacting support, but support is also still backed up. Meanwhile, posting a release announcement and advertising the game on social media are short-term workarounds. Devlogs help, too, as well as simply replying to other community members in the forum. Hope this helps.

I contacted support 3 days ago and still don't have a response yet. Are they really backed up?

Very much I'm afraid.

Well at least you're not backed up. Thank you for the replies.

Is there anyway I can see the lag time between clicking the publish button and when your game gets added to the index? I filter by games less than $5 and released within the last day and I see games making it into the index.

I don't think that's possible, no. People ask all the time.

Any chance an admin can provide some more insight into this? It's been over two weeks.

I've been waiting for this queue since June 26, I am starting to wonder if my request is on hold, or if it got swallowed by a black hole. If anyone had experienced this process, it would be nice to tell us how long does it take.

It would help if you started your own topic, because I could have easily missed your post. Did you check the Search & Browse FAQ? It lists possible reasons why your game was never indexed.

I'm glad its not just me then!
