Hi Staber,

Congratulations for your release!

I’m a Linux user, and my first feedback is about that. I tried to download the game, and it seems Windows, Mac and Linux all have the same downloaded file, which is an .exe file, which are only supported on Windows.

Also I see this in the instructions:

For Windows/Linux/Mac:

Download the Installer

The Game will be downloaded automatically

Is that implying that once the user runs the .exe file, then the game will be downloaded? I’m not sure if other games in Itch.io are following a similar pattern, but personally I prefer the game to be included in the download.

Apart from that, I took a look at your trailer, and your page, so here is some feedback based on that:

  • I think the timer on the top of the screen is too big. I assume the timer is not a very important part of the game, so it could have smaller size.
  • The style of the game looks interesting. Not sure if there are levels not shown in the trailer, but if the user is expected to play the game for 20-25 minutes or more, they might find it monotonous, as everything looks similar. I understand that the game uses few colours on purpose, maybe the areas can have platform with different textures? (instead of straight lines)
  • The game’s page looks like its following the game’s colorscheme, which is a good thing. Unfortunately the screenshots are kinda getting lost in the background, and there is no clear distinction where the screenshot starts or ends. Maybe the background could be a slightly gray-ish colour instead?
  • The white text on black background has very high contrast, and might be too harsh for the eyes. Similar to the above point, I would suggest some gray-ish background (dark gray can also work), like above.

That is all I could see. As I didn’t get to play the game, I couldn’t get more in-depth on the gameplay. I hope this helps :)

Thank you very much for your feedback, this helped quite a bit, some of these suggestions i am completely aware of. And for the Linux build will be fixed soon, again thank you for your feedback
