I am a non native english speaker and I have doubts about this. 

As a french (so Europe Union) solo dev should I get EIN or ITIN tax number ?

I understood the followings : EIN is for employers, business, etc  and ITIN is good for individual person ? 

So it would be ITIN for me ?

Maybe an obvious question but there is no explicit warnings to help foreigners to understand it.

If you are an individual running a typical one-person company (or no company), it’s ITIN. Then use your social security number or similar national ID number to register.
