Three HTML5 Game Source Code Packages — Launch Bundle

Hi everyone!

I've released three complete, ready-to-use HTML5 game source code packages:

• Cat, Dogs & Cheese — An endless arcade game with quests, achievements, skins and power-ups.

• Orbit Shift — A one-button neon arcade game with missions, themes and progression.

• Neon Circuit — A connection puzzle game featuring 36 solvable levels and four board sizes.

Every package is built with HTML5 Canvas, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. No frameworks, build tools, package managers or external runtime dependencies are required.

The packages include clean, editable source files, documentation, customization guidance and a commercial single-end-product license.

The complete bundle is currently available for $49 instead of $65 for a limited time.

Thanks for checking it out! Feedback and questions are welcome.

I see these deals quite often. Firstly, the bundle link takes you to Cat, Dogs & Cheese.

I use HTML5 Canvas, CSS and vanilla JavaScript for my own games, but would not use these AI source code packs. It is not a game, page, code quality problem, but it is an AI problem. Selling AI source code will almost never work, as I can just ask AI to make it myself.

Secondly, I am aware that AI is far too overconfident when it comes to selling. For example it suggested my first goal of a $3.99 DLC should be $500. I made it $12.

I will say that the games look unique, and not like basic clones.

You have better luck with putting the games themselves on a pay what you want in the browser, and getting donations.

Cat, Dogs & Cheese is also missing the dark blue background and theme.

Thanks for the honest feedback. I’m new to selling on itch.io and still learning what works here. You were also right about the bundle link—it was mistakenly pointing to the individual Cat, Dogs & Cheese page, and I’ve corrected it.

If you don’t mind, I’d really appreciate any general advice you can share—not only about these games, but also about selling games, source code, assets, or other digital products on itch.io. What types of products tend to work better here, and what should a new seller focus on?

I’m also considering making the games playable in the browser as “pay what you want” and offering the source code separately. Do you think that would be a better approach?

Also, could you clarify what you mean about Cat, Dogs & Cheese missing the dark blue background and theme? I’d like to improve the presentation.

Thanks again for taking the time to give detailed feedback.
