A doubt regarding taxes for the game!!

Hello, I am from India. I completed tax interview in itch.io site and it says 15% with holding tax. My doubt is that, do tax get deducted in India too? When funds are released from itch to Paypal ( i suppose 15% is deducted for US taxes) and it comes to Indian bank account. Now will the Indian govt also cuts taxes?

Withholding tax is something applied by the United States when we send you, someone outside of the United States, money. It has nothing to do with any income tax that your own country asks for.

Hope that explains

Thanks for quick response. I mailed to support@itch.io two weeks back, but no one replied. But ok, so as i understand, both 15% for U.S and tax put by India (based on money earned whole year) have to be payed, right? That's a loss but yeah, procedures are procedures.
