Project saving doesn't work (Linux)

Hi, I just noticed a new update came out with a linux build on steam which I think is awesome, and for me it is much more stable than with wine so far, but I noticed that I cannot save projects which is a bummer. I'm on 1.21.7.1,  CachyOS running wayland. Also, opening files doesn't seem to work. It might just be any interaction with the file system, but I'm honestly not sure. Anyway, I hope this gets resolved. Thanks!

That sounds a lot like what happened to me (https://itch.io/t/6798639/frozen-execution-in-linux)! As far as I know, it’s a bug: the program tries to locate its own dependencies (which are actually there) but fails to find them, so things don’t work (and setting custom paths doesn’t help either). I’d recommend using the Windows version with Wine. It works perfectly XD

that could be it. May I ask which wine version you’re using? Mine was always jank so far

I’m using wine 9.0

Oh, that seems to be more stable indeed. By default it now opens in full screen and when I force it to exit the UI seems to be displaced visually compared to the actual hover zones. Have you encountered this? It might just be compositor dependent, I'm using Niri.

No, that hasn’t happened to me; it opens maximized for me (since that’s how I usually use it). It might be due to something in your settings (though I doubt it, if you haven’t changed anything).
