Hello, I am new to itch.io and I have a question about payments and taxes and I couldn't find this topic. I still have to do the interview (going to take care of that soon), but what happens if I manage to successfully sell a game before I finish the interview? Will the money just sit with itch.io until I finish the interview or... what?
The tax interview is only required if you want to collect a payout from itch.io. If you sell something before completing it then the money will sit on your account.
