I, a solo dev, have made a text-based terminal game where you explore, craft, build, and in some cases, fight. Although it is text-based, it has lots of emojis, and even has a "grid mode" for combat and hunt, so that is visual. And the spear throw dynamics is real skill not just luck like many games.
