I find the existing project-page format to be rather limiting. My current project is pretty involved and in order to convey the extent of its features and capabilities enough for potential users/buyers to understand the full scope of it I've had to fill the project's page with multiple pages of text and images, which pushes the other sections of the project page wayyyyyy down at the bottom - forcing users to scroll through it all just to get to them. I've actually had people complain about not being able to buy my software or download the demo because it didn't occur to them to scroll to the bottom of the page. It's a very unusual layout that is not typical of online store pages.
There's a "Buy" button on the top of the page but otherwise no way for users to quickly navigate to the sections that are stuck at the very bottom of the project page. It would be extremely useful to have something like blogger does allowing multiple pages of content. Then I could move all the content I have on the main page to those pages and keep the main page sparse and to-the-point. Having even just a navigation bar across the top with customizeable links would be a huge step up because I could then just link to the sections toward the bottom of the page like the buy, demo download, and project community sections.
