Hello everyone! Good to see you guys.

I'm new to itch.io and a little bit need some understanding and adaptation with the system. So pardon me if the question is pretty rubbish or newb to ask :D

So i have a game that still on the development called Tactical Override. I already make a page about it and publish it. But, it won't show on the search list even I type the exact name. I already take a research about it and I found out that there will be a delay for a couple days to make it show on the search list. And there is a quote I get from someone on the community post answering for this problem that "The admin will test your game to confirm the game page is legit" , and it is to reduce the risk of fraud (im not really remember how the exact word is, but overall the point is like that) . That comes up a question in my mind. So my game page still not provide a downloadable game (I choose downloadable files on the form) since it is like a page that keep informing about the game and the development update until it is ready to "release" . That page means to attract people that maybe interested with my game and keep in touch with the development process. So the conclusion is my page will never comes to the search result since it doesnt have a downloadable games / files. So what is the best way to make a game page for updating the development that people can see? Am I do it the wrong way?

Here is the game page https://realismvr.itch.io/tactical-override-vr (doesn't mean to tricky marketing, just for reference of my question) . So thank you for the time to read my question. Sorry for bad english :D

Best regards,

Publish devlogs, like you've already started! People read those, and it's a good way to keep the game in the public's attention, not to mention letting them know when it's ready.

Hi No Time To Play! Awesome, thanks for the reply! So I just need to wait for several days after my game pages status is "published" until it is confirmed by the admin? So the pages can showing on the search list / publicly

No, as you pointed out yourself, your game won't appear in searches and such until it has some downloads. But the devlogs will appear in their own section of the site. And people do look there.

Omg, so there is a special section for Devlogs only. I just realize it was there xD Thank you No Time To Play for the answer. So know the only things that my game "could shown" on public is my devlog right? Cool, hope you have a nice day there!! Once again thank you for the answer!
