An American Werewolf in L.A. - a game for a Fantasy Film Festival

The Isla Calavera Fantasy Film Festival  (quite an event in our small island) asked us, five months ago, to develop their fist oficial video game for assistants to play during the event on three arcade cabinets. The festival pays tribute to the fantasy movies of the ‘80s and, specifically in this edition, to the cult movie “An American Werewolf in London”. It was honored by the presence of very special guests: David Naughton and Rick Backer himself! Plus, Paul Naschy's work was also remembered during the event. If you like b-movies and the terror genre you probably know them. If you don't... well, you may imagine how excited we were, because we do.

Following the festival desires (a game inspired by Kung Fu Master!) we created An american Werewolf in L.A.”, a retro beat’m’up that pretends to be an spiritual successor of the movie. Five stages, more than 10 enemies and a final boss.

You can get the game for PC (Windows) here An american Werewolf in L.A.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed the whole experience!
