Sales bug?

I haven’t yet tried this in 0.18.2, but i didn’t see it mentioned in the dev notes. When I go to sell multiple of something, I’m getting unusually high sales prices. I think it may start by estimating the sell price for the whole stack, but when I tick up to 1,2,3,4, etc, the displayed transaction price goes up by that amount each time.

When I hit f to commit the transaction, the actual amount transacted is lower than the displayed price, but still not as low as I would expect for reasonable sell prices (where “reasonable” means “<= purchase price”).

I’ll try to get a concrete example with numbers tomorrow after my next run.

Okay, upgraded to 0.18.2. Healing balm!

Purchase price: 18cb, sell price: 43cb

Three of them is 1gc, 29cb.

This time, the transaction price matched: 1gc, 29cb.

I do some crafting and go back. Purchase price is still 18cb, sell price is now 14cb (about 1/3 of 43cb from above).

Healing salve?

Purchase price: 55cb, sell price: 88cb

I’m guessing at this point that the sell price is supposed to be about 80% purchase price.

Again, the transaction result is the same as predicted by the screen: 1gc, 76cb.

I didn’t see any examples of the transacted price being lower this time around, so not sure if that was fixed in 0.18.2 or i just didn’t hit the right combo to get it.

Hope that helps!

ps- thanks for making the game! love it!

That's interesting! Thanks. I'll fix it in the next build. Glad you're enjoying it. :-)

Update: yep, you're 100% right unsurprisingly! It's fixed and will be in the next update. :-)

Great! Glad it was a help and not an annoyance. :)
