Truncating comments when logged in vs when not

Currently, it seems like long comments are only truncated with a "View rest ↓" button when the viewer is logged into an itch.io account. When the user is not logged in, the whole comment is displayed. (Tested on PC and mobile browsers.)

Could this be changed so that long comments are also truncated for viewers who don't have itch.io accounts/aren't logged in currently? This would make it easier to scroll through comments and let the viewer choose whether or not they want to read the whole comment or not when they come across a long one.
