You can discuss how much you're enjoying the game here.
Thanks, feruhaifisch! I'm glad you enjoyed my "unique" artstyle. Haha! I'm doing my best, but I'm afraid that uniqueness is my lack of artistic ability.
There is the game Healslut by daviezwei which is also a visual novel. I encourage you to give it a try if you haven't.
As for the character fully turning female... no, I have no plans for that. More alterations are in the works though including the ability to get pregnant.
A surprising amount of content for the first release. Very nice. Also enjoying the art style (this coming from someone who doesn’t have an artistic bone in their body).
I never managed to trigger use of the healing skill - I’m guessing there’s a health threshold for it. May have to save-scum for difficult encounters to get party health low enough.
Did I miss any that are implemented?
I’m also guessing there are certain events that can’t trigger on the first day e.g. Hangman. Is that correct?
If I had money and this were a commercial project, I'd hire you as a play tester. Yes, you've found all the +MPH implemented so far and you're correct that certain events can't trigger on the first day. It's very difficult to trigger the healing skill on this first week. Companion health must drop below 35 for it to happen, and I didn't really want it to be a common occurrence on this first week. I may have overshot it though and made it too unlikely. I'll look into rebalancing it.
Thanks for your praise on the art style! It's the part I'm least confident in. Please stick with it and we'll see Eva to the finish.
I’m an older software developer. One thing I spend a lot of time on is teaching more junior developers how to make things easy for QA e.g. fully-specified acceptance criteria covering edge cases.
One of the side effects of learning to write good QA acceptance criteria is becoming a pretty decent tester yourself ;)
Ah, that makes sense. I hope you stick around. Your feedback is very appreciated. I'm a novice at programming and thinking through all these edge cases. I think most of my focus in testing was going into making sure everyone reacts correctly to any events or changes, so I'm dealing with dozens of flags and checks. I haven't put much effort into the Healslut Guide yet, so I think I forgot to test it thoroughly.
Suggestion for one of the events. Maybe have hair colour go through a bleaching process then to the selected colour. That way there’s an indication of what happened even when the final result is the same as the start, and suitable comments can be made (e.g. “I’m glad your hair stayed as …” or “Would have preferred …”).
I loved the art style. Eva is cute and the rest is rough. Perfect for setting a sissy in a harsh and cruel world. The writing is great, and the story from the beginning, before entering the simulation, until the end of the second night is perfect and very well constructed. After that, for me, in the following days, besides the Hangman, nothing happened. just a long serie of battles. I don't know if I was unlucky with the RNG or if the content really ends. Maintaining the pace after the impact of the first two days is really difficult and even not recommended in my opinion; things need to settle down. But I found the transition from a lot happening to... nothing happening to be very abrupt.
Thanks for the feedback, el-fodon! I'm glad you enjoyed the start. There are a number of events you missed because it does sound like you got a bit unlucky with the RNG, but it won't matter as there many weeks of gameplay left and many of those events can still be experienced in the future along with all the future events that I'm currently working on. I'm glad you at least experienced the hangman in your first week, as that is a rare event. The game will make a bit more sense gameplay-wise once I get a few more weeks of content up.
Good question, I think I was just curious and liked the style. I have a bit of a scattergun approach to trying games, try lots but don't stick with many. Quite a few have different routes, with sissy being optional, or you start male then are immediately turned female for the rest of the game, so in my mind it makes no difference.
Also a big fan of the idea of a full m2f transformation, but I get that you're trying to make your world, which I can appreciate. Still a 10/10 game idea. Some of the BGs are a tad too psychedelic imo, but at the same time, Im loving the uniqueness and originality. Following on here and TFG! And honestly I think this would do well on steam when its done!
