A surprising amount of content for the first release. Very nice. Also enjoying the art style (this coming from someone who doesn’t have an artistic bone in their body).

I never managed to trigger use of the healing skill - I’m guessing there’s a health threshold for it. May have to save-scum for difficult encounters to get party health low enough.

So far the +MHP I've found are:
  • Lips
  • Nails
  • Eyes
  • Tongue
  • Clothes

Did I miss any that are implemented?

I’m also guessing there are certain events that can’t trigger on the first day e.g. Hangman. Is that correct?

If I had money and this were a commercial project, I'd hire you as a play tester. Yes, you've found all the +MPH implemented so far and you're correct that certain events can't trigger on the first day. It's very difficult to trigger the healing skill on this first week. Companion health must drop below 35 for it to happen, and I didn't really want it to be a common occurrence on this first week. I may have overshot it though and made it too unlikely. I'll look into rebalancing it.

Thanks for your praise on the art style! It's the part I'm least confident in. Please stick with it and we'll see Eva to the finish.

I’m an older software developer. One thing I spend a lot of time on is teaching more junior developers how to make things easy for QA e.g. fully-specified acceptance criteria covering edge cases.

One of the side effects of learning to write good QA acceptance criteria is becoming a pretty decent tester yourself ;)

Ah, that makes sense. I hope you stick around. Your feedback is very appreciated. I'm a novice at programming and thinking through all these edge cases. I think most of my focus in testing was going into making sure everyone reacts correctly to any events or changes, so I'm dealing with dozens of flags and checks. I haven't put much effort into the Healslut Guide yet, so I think I forgot to test it thoroughly.
