Linux Air Combat first official Production Release

For the past 4 years, Linux Air Combat ("LAC") has been frequently updated as features have been added. As of 15Nov2019 we are very pleased to announce that development has met all our plans and extensive testing confirms mature, stable status. Accordingly, Linux Air Combat Release Version 7.92 is now available and ready for widespread distribution. We expect this stable version to remain unchanged for at least a year while we gather more extensive user feedback.

LAC is a realistic, online, multiplayer combat flight simulator featuring more than 50 aircraft from World War II, and in terms of its features and technology, LAC is now the world's leading open-source combat flight simulator for Linux. LAC's free server is constantly available and you might run into online partners or opponents at any time, but the most active LAC players usually gather online on Thursday evenings, from about 6PM until about 10PM Central USA time.
