Too Linear

One of the worst things in a lot of these RPG Marker games is the forced content/scenes. The potion shop thief one is such a turn off from this game. Do you plan on making this game a kinetic novel? Is there going to be any actual choice? I'd like to know now if you plan make this game linear so I know rather or not I want to buy the game.

Hey, thanks for checking out the game!

I would say Accursed definitely won't be close to a kinetic novel but it also won't be a total sandbox either. It will sit somewhere between those two extremes.

Basically we opted for doing a strong narrative but that doesn't mean players will not have choice. There are a couple scenes like the potion shop thief scene we plan to revisit to provide alternate means to progress through, should the player choose it. Aside from that there will be plenty of side content that players can do and some of which will affect the main story and how the player progresses through it. Not to mention the choice of corrupting Emma or not!

Hopefully that answers your question!

It does thank you. That was reassuring to read. Best of luck with the project!
