I'll fix it for the next internal build but we are also in the process of switching over to a menu-based gallery.

I wouldn't consider this a spoiler since it can be easily guessed based on the type of game we are making.
But yes, to an extent. 

When you hear the noise, just approach the backdoor and that should trigger the scene.

You shouldn't be able to leave whilst that backdoor is triggered though. I'll see if I can reproduce that and add a fix to the next major patch.

There isn't anything locked behind having a specific corruption level yet.
The corruption system and the cursed realm are both the major focus of the next patch actually.

STORY STRUCTURE 

The game's story and Emma's corruption is very important to us. In order to properly tell her story the game is split into three major acts alongside a prologue and epilogue. Each section will differ with structure and what is available for Emma to do.

  1. Prologue: A short linear introduction to the world and a few of the major characters. The events here set the entire game in motion.
  2. Act I: Introduction to the small town where much of the game will take place. Several key game mechanics/systems will also be introduced here. Plan the order in which Emma does various odd jobs around town each day of the week. Help the blacksmith at the forge? Serve some lucky patrons at the bar?
  3. Act II: The game will open up a lot during this act. A multitude of side quests, activities and free events will become available. Pursue the main quest at your leisure. Be careful though! Emma's collective choices at the end of this act will determine which of  the one of two possible Act III's are served to the player!
  4. Act III: The player will either get the pure or corrupt version of this act based on the prior key choices.
  5. Endings: Each version of Act III will also lead to 2 distinctive endings (total of 4) depending on overall choices made. There will also be various "flavors" to these endings depending on what you did during the game.

CUTSCENE QoL

Your favorite quality of life buttons from all your Ren,py games are here. Auto, Skip, Log, Hide, Save, Load, Settings, and Return to Title. All visual novel styled scenes within the game will feature these buttons within the dialogue box.

CORRUPTION

Throughout the game various "choices" will present themselves to Emma and therefore the player. After gaining enough Corruption Experience Emma will gain a "Corruption Level". The higher Emma's Corruption Level the more lewd and corrupted she will act. Some events will be locked behind specific a Corruption Level. Also, it will be possible to gain "purity" and reduce corruption, albeit these events will be more rare.

MINI-GAMES?

There will also be a small amount of mini-games the player can engage in as well such as fishing, farming and simulated gambling. These are not meant to be super in-depth systems but will provide their own unique rewards and side-quests.

And we're glad you enjoyed the game even considering it's early state!

Pretty much every con you listed will be addressed in future updates.
As an example: we are expanding the barmaid job this upcoming update.

I'll just say this for now: Not as a gameplay element or early in the game.
It would balloon the cost of all the 2D artwork if we had to account for the possibility for Emma being pregnant.

As you can see in it's current stage there is already a ton of artwork and it just wouldn't be feasible for us to include this feature.

Yeah, you'll get RC builds as soon as they are available if you purchased the game.
Snapshots are WIP versions of upcoming RC builds only available to Tier 2 Supporters on Patreon/Subscribestar.

There are. We actually had planned to do it with this version but ran into device issues so we were unable to test it. (The phone's battery started expanding.) We are hoping to have the .apk for the upcoming 0.1.21 RC version.

Just unzip the save folder into the main folder with the game.exe. If done right, you should see the folder like so:

If you want to keep any saves in there already, just make sure to back them up prior to doing this.

Currently, you can only swap back and forth in the camp map.
It was more just for testing in a past version. I'll add something in to swap back in the upcoming hotfix.

It's a one time purchase for owning the game. By purchasing the game now you'll get all future paid versions and the full game on release.

Current plan is after 0.1 is released to Paid we'll work on an Android version before the patch goes live to the Public.

Once you've seen the related night scene for that quest that's the end of content for it currently. The quest has additional content coming as a part of the next update (0.1.20) alongside a new h-scene.

So you'll have access to all future paid versions and the final game on itch.

We are finishing up "0.1" for release this December. Afterwords our internal roadmap has finishing Act 1 as the top priority.

Understandable!
The increases aren't meant as a punishment but as a reward for those supporting the game early. As all that money goes directly into development of the game rather than profit.

And thanks so much! That's our goal actually. We want the game is provide enough variety in story, 18+ content and gameplay that no component ever gets "stale".

I'm actually working on the version deployment pipeline to include Mac and Linux.
Albeit, Mac will be tricky for us since we actually can't test it as we don't own a Mac. It "should" work but well we'll have no idea.

Does this issue persist in the latest versions?
Also, are you using an older save, one provided in the .zip or starting a new game when you encounter this issue?

A good chunk of the posts on our Patreon are actually public. If you follow there (it's free) you should get notified and be able to read the latest news regarding the progress and plans of the game.
Of course, we also occasionally will cross post some stuff on itch.io too.

For now yeah, you shouldn't carry over any saves. Maps are being swapped out with new ones and game flow/triggers are being cleaned up, etc. Hope is once we hit 0.1 we can start carrying over saves most of the time. 

Also plan to add in some QoL stuff for those that play each patch such a start selector and in-game patch notes.

There is also the "fast" option to speed through dialogue faster than the speed of sound. I know this has been a life saver for me haha.

And yeah, we'll be switching to taller sprites all around as soon as we are able to. They just take a lot of time and cost a lot to commission as well at least for the main cast.
NPCs we might be able to do cheaper as there will be less animations needed.

I'm honestly not super familiar with Joiplay. I have in the past been able to run the game fine on my pixel 6 and a s21 (snapdragon). Others have reported it working fine on a pixel 5, 6a and 7.
