Hey, Phrantic here! :)

I checked out Nimble Kick and I can really appreciate the thoughts that went into simplifying kick pitching especially for hardstyle. Really nice work!

Now there are 2 features I'm still missing from this and that would totally make other methods obsolete (at least for me).

1. A pitch slide function. Sometimes, especially if pitched very high, a sudden "cut" can sound too harsh. So what helps here (and also making it sound more smooth in general) is a slide function that sets in as soon as the tail part is playing. It doesn't need to be as wholesome as the cubase pitch function (which is imo still the best there is), but maybe something like an atk knob that regulates the time it needs to get the kick on the desired note.

2. A knob/slider that decides where the tail part is starting and/or allows to skip the punch altogether. When working with samples there can sometimes be unwanted noises/sounds in the very start of the tail or it just fits the flow better.

Keep up the good work and I hope you consider this feedback in the future!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you like it!

1. Have you tried turning up the crossfade slider? This might make it sound a bit less harsh. I'm not sure a bend transition from the punch to the tail will ever happen, because it's a lot less efficient on the CPU to do that, and additionally it's not supported on at least 1 of the algorithms.

2. Not entirely sure what you mean here, I think you're talking about the ability to shift the tail part a bit? That's a good idea, and actually part of what I have planned for an upcoming feature already.

2. you can just solo the tail?
