It took me a while to figure out, but butler doesn't seem to like paths with "space" in them. If I for example am pushing a folder "my game" butler will think that's two arguments. Should probably be mentioned somewhere. I bet you can wrap a path with "'", IDK.

This is how all command line tools work, and not specific to butler. If you want to have a single argument contain a space you must wrap it in quotes.

Was there a page in the documentation that pointed you in the wrong direction? Perhaps we can update it to use quotes.
