Hi everyone!

I'm just started a new project by myself. It is about a homeless guy tries to survive in a modern urban. I just wanted to share my progress with you and I need some feedback about my UI design.

Here is some screenshots.

Some more pictures from different times of the day.

I think you've got a really solid visual style going on, looks like a miniature city, maybe you could strenghten that effect with some depth of field.

I think the minimal UI fits well actually, which I did not expect at all when I read what your game was about! I think surprising combinations like these are sure to make your game stand out!

I'm about to add some depth of field but Unity3D got some problems with DoF and dynamic display resolution. I'm gonna add when I figure it out. I'm happy to see your comment about minimal UI design, I think it is well matched with the 3D models. Thank you for your feedback! :)

I'm trying to get best camera angle for the game, there is a new angle below. Help me out which is better? The angle in first post or this one? :/

I personally prefer the angle from the post more - world looks more filled

This looks really cool. The first angle will be better for story and interctions. The second angle would be better for a GTA wrecking havoc hobo, which I don't think you're going for.

I'm really confused to choose one, I will try to figure out how can I use both.

Love your art style!
I like the camera in the first few screenshots. It shows sources of food prominently with you - a hungry homeless person - right in front.  Hits hard.

Hahaha, right. That perspective could give you the emotion of despair better. I will try my best to achieve it.

I am currently working on quest system, i will share some screenshots this week.
