Version for Linux

Basically I love your game and really want to support you monetarily when I can, but I simply can't play the game without almost everything I do causing it to crash because the only way for me to play it is through linux at the moment. So a huge request would be if you could port it to linux. I don't know how much work is required to do so, but i'm assuming it is difficult so this would be awesome if you did it. Thank you

I have ported my games to Linux in the past. I still plan on doing that. When I reach a major version I'll see if I can't hook up my Linux box again and build a version. The issue is I don't have the time to support both releases right now. I could probably release on every now and again but it wouldn't always be up to date with the newest build. I am getting close to releasing the next major build so that might be something I'll look into. I'd need you to test it though :) what version of Linux do you have?

I truly do not understand programming and computers enough but i can tell you that I have Fedora 30 installed and then it says something about GNOME Version 3.32.2

This is all I know information wise about my computer.

And I would totally love to test it out for you

I also wanted to mention that just today specifically so that I can play your game I bought windows 10. Cool thing is though is that i have two laptops that I am using and they both currently have linux/ubuntu on them. I'm going to put windows on the one i'm typing this message on and then the other one I will leave with linux so that I can use it for any programming or play testing required for your game.

Also more information about everything is that i've spent all day trying to figure out how to get your game to properly work on linux without actually having a version to download. So I used Wine and used this PlayOnLinux thing to install a virtual drive of the game file and play it on linux although I kept having that issue where it would say FATAL ERROR in Vertex Shader compilation. So I went and tried to download the microsoft DirectX library but because i'm on linux I couldn't do that. I went and tried to create a virtual drive for the directX library but that didn't work so I was unable to get around the game crashing everytime I tried to explore, kill something and pick up the drop, or pick up a weapon because apparently it could not properly load in and connect the files with he code to do so. I hope this gives you some info on what i've done to play your game so it is a complete understatement when I say I will gladly test out anything you have as a port for the linux version of your game.
