Hi! I’m hoping someone here might have experience with this. I recently uploaded my first game to itch.io after working on it for over two years. The upload went smoothly, but when I tried making a post in the community, I received a message saying my account had a warning on it and that my post required moderator review.

My account has been mostly inactive until now, I have 2FA enabled, and I haven’t received any notices about why a warning might be there. I also noticed that my game isn’t appearing in search or browsing categories, and at the moment the only people who can access it are those I’ve given a direct link to.

I’ve contacted itch.io support and sent a follow-up, but I haven’t heard back yet. I know their team is small, so I’m not sure what the usual response time is (it’s currently been 5 days in my case), and I’m worried I might be misunderstanding how new uploads are handled.

Has anyone run into something similar before, like an automatic warning, delayed visibility, or posts needing review? I just want to make sure I’m not missing a step on my end.

Any insight would be really appreciated!
