Possible Plagiarism Issue on Itch.io (my game is stolen)

Hey everyone, I recently noticed that another account has uploaded a game that appears to be a copy of my original project “Sinister Studying”, which I published here:

https://demirdeniz1.itch.io/sinister-studying

The copied version seems to be this one:
https://giandevgamess.itch.io/sinister-studying

I’m currently trying to contact the uploader and I’ve also reported the issue to itch.io support, but I wanted to ask the community:
– Has anyone dealt with something like this before?
– How long does it usually take for itch.io staff to respond to copyright or stolen-content reports?

Any advice or experience would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading and supporting honest creator

That can take weeks. Or days. Depends how obvious it is and how much staff has to do. It is the same as with all those complaints about not being indexed or about payouts.

Oh, and your case specifically, that was malware. At least they already quarantined that fake project and the rest on that scammer's account is currently not indexed.

Ok thanks for the respond.
