Hello, everyone. I'm looking for a project to get into these days. I have worked on a few Devolver Digital titles as well as several other indie games, and although Googling my name would bring up a lot of Synthwave and electronic music, I am much more versatile than that. Those tracks are what those games called for, so that has been my output as of late. But I am fluent in jazz, metal, hip hop, world, etc., and would like a chance to stretch my legs in some new territory. You might not be interested as this isn't new territory... but I'm making a VR shooter heavily inspired by Hotline Miami. I literally just posted about it (https://itch.io/t/553985/vr-dr-lucky-duck). In saying that, I'm open to ideas as I'm really struggling to nail down a sound that fits.

I've been looking at various music styles and I know Synth is out - It's draining to hear over and over (unless it's the Terminator theme). 

I think the best direction is something like the Max Payne 1 song Byzantine Power Game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so3TUeGwMHs).  I quite like some of Rezz's work for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oIAQSUt9mo but don't think it'll fit.

I reached out as I think your work with Black Tar (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agefZHl0T98) is quite similar to the Max Payne 1 sound. Even if you're not interested, I'd love to hear some suggestions you may be able to offer.
