I need someone to help me on a project I am working on with 3D models and animations . More information if you respond.

Whats up?

I can help

What help do ya need?

(1 edit)

I want to make a 3D game that feels retro or quite nostalgic .It has a low-poly and VHS vibe to it  ( sort of like PS1 but not entirely ) and has a dream core twist on by using pinkish colour palates . PS .I wanted to mention that you play in first person so player model might not be necessary.

!Just to mention I am using Godot!

Now for the story ,

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You are a humanoid cat ( like in animal crossing for example ) called Juno and live in a house with your family ( Dad , Mom ,Brother ,Sister and baby Brother ) . Now there are 15 days you have to go through to win the game . The days in daytime are calm and all you need to do is some chores :

1. Wash dishes

2. Take out garbage

3. Clean your room

4. Wash clothes

5. Find your baby brother's toy

And after you finish the chores you can go to sleep. Then you wake up in the middle of the night and you want to eat something but then there's a monster ( A humanoid cat such as bendy but low-poly ) chasing you each night.

Now thank you for considering this and any help helps ( lowkey a Tesco reference )

is it like mine:

cuz if so I can give you some tips, tip #1: learn GLSL.

Yeah but with a little less distortion

also the animation an be around 2 frames per second

You don't want 2 fps animation. That's slow even for pixel art.

i meant like those low fps trick to make it more retro and for the sake of animation

This might help with the VHS Vibe.

First, open and create new sequence in Premiere Pro with the screen size for your game

-Create a black and white color matte

-Follow the video and put the glitch between the two

-Export only the glitch transition with looping

-Put it on your UI with like 20% opacity

Thank you this surely will help😊😊
