I've been thinking a lot about the genetics panel. What would you think if I made it so those sliders *fix* the genes for newly created species instead of increasing the maximum possible? For example if you set plant height to 5 all new 'random plants' created would be 5m tall with other random genes (unless you have unlocked them of course)

I think "random plants" should be random. only custom plants should be able to be tweaked.
