I've been a solo developer for the past 5+ years, but I'm looking to get some experience with other people's projects.

Below are a few of the languages / programs that I have experience with, along with a rating of how proficient I believe I am in them. I'd also be willing to learn anything not listed here, just know that I may not meet all expectations in that case.

If any of these suit your needs, contact me on Discord: @akikatzumi ('t' between the 'a' and 'z')

RPG Maker [MZ / MV / VXACE] [Node.js] (9/10):
I've been making games with RPGM for many years and I have a very good grasp on most of its features. In some of my more recent projects, I've gained experience with the custom Nodejs scripting feature, as well as in making small custom plugins. (These were meta-horror projects, so it involved a lot of messing with the players computer and files if you're looking for that sort of thing.)I also have access to a lot of plugins, mostly from Yanfly, if interested.

Lua [Unitale] (7/10):
Recently, I've been using the Unitale (now CreateYourFrisk) engine to make custom Undertale battles. As such, I've learned a lot about the language and believe I'd be able to use it in other contexts. I know that PICO-8 has a Lua based language, though I currently do not have any experience with it

Ren'py [Python] (6/10):
While Ren'py is a very beginner-user-friendly language, much like RPG Maker, there is also room to add a lot of more advanced code. I don't have as much experience in Python than I do with Javascript, I'm very skilled in utilizing documentation, so I would more than likely be able to figure out any custom function.

GB Studio [Possibly LFS] (5/10):
Lately, I've been really interested in making a Gameboy game with GB Studio. While I've messed around with it's functions ab it, I haven't delved into making a full fledged game as I lack the artistic and musical resources. But if you're an artist and or musician, or have a team with those, I'd love to work on a retro project.

Pixel Game Maker MV (2/10):
PGMMV is another game engine by the makers of RPG Maker. It's a strange mix of the RPGM menus and parameters, as well as a coding system very similar to Game Builder Garage. Not necessarily my forte, but I'd be willing to try it out.

GameMaker Studio (1/10):
Years ago, I bought GameMaker Studio 2 thinking it would be the primary way I made games: such is not the case. As you can see, a lot of the engines I use are on the more simplistic side; RPG Maker and GB Studio are basically just a bunch of drop-down menus and buttons. In my mind, programs with limitations allow for game developers to challenge those limits and make something really unique. Sure, you could make literally any game with Unity or GMS, but (at least for me,) having endless options is a burden in and of itself. That being said, I did buy a $100-or-so license and it's currently just sitting in my Steam library, so if you have a team with multiple developers, I'd be willing to help out.

Apologies for such an egregiously long post, but I figured it'd be better than having an individual post for each engine, since I don't have a lot to say about some of them. Or maybe this style is worse, who knows.

Additionally, I do still have some projects of my own that have been in developmental-pause for who knows how long, and I'd love to find people to work on those as well. I may post topics for them in the future, but for now, I'd appreciated it if you visited my profile, and if any of the games there seem of interest to you, please contact me!

Thank you.
