Just curious ... as I just purchased an item that apparently doesn't exist?

Yeah, so, as it turned out, a few days after the backing period ended, I was told by my family that our family business was finally happening (we tried to start in Covid, but just getting the store in a place to be opened took a couple years). If it was my choice, I would've finished this first, especially considering the rest of the family aren't able-bodied enough to run the store themselves. But, ever since, for the past 3 years, I've been averaging about 55-75 hours a week there. If I had the financial capability, I'd want to refund each and every single backer and eventually release it as free. However, considering the store still hasn't turned a profit, I don't have an income with which to do that. Also considering the lack of income, I've kept up the price of Discordantopia, because it really does help me.

That said, I could give you a refund, as there's no real end in sight for me. If it were mine to do, I would've already cut my losses with the store, but my family kinda banked their entire retirement fund on it, so are kind of stubbornly continuing with it. I've been telling myself, "whenever I actually get time I'll start on this again," but I've been saying that a long time, now.
