I would give this game 9/10 stars, or 4.5/5, but I'd rather be generous than stingy, so 5 it is!.

Why not 5/5 stars? I felt that the game might have benefited from a few additions:

* a sample character sheet (minor quibble)

* an example of play. It doesn't have to be a complete saga, but it should exemplify a few prompts. I think that the author was so familiar with Thousand Year Old Vampire that they (? don't know wym's pronouns) may have assumed too much knowledge on the part of the new player.

* a few more rules examples and clarifications

Still, as the second solo game I ever played, this was a *very* satisfying experience for a wuxia fan!

Good day. I was wondering - does the number of Songs  xiake have count toward the limit on the number of Legends the xiake may have?

For example, if my xiake has 2 Songs, can they only have 3 other Legends active? Or can they have 5 Legends available regardless of the number of Songs the character has?

I absolutely love the perfect mesh of noir and horror genres (why aren't there more media and games that use this combination?). I am a 40+ year RPG veteran, but this was my first play-through of the game, and I ran it as a solo RPG. It was absolutely glorious! The prompts did a fantastic job of evoking the tone of the genres, and the system mechanics were easy to comprehend and facilitated the flow of the narrative. Ultimately, my poor Investigators reached the Finale and prevented the manifestation of the Hollow Queen, but sacrificed all, and the Hollow Queen will return!

Good day. I purchased this item as part of the "Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality," but I don't seem to be able to access the current updated version, even thought yoyur latest note in the DevLog says I should have access to it. Please advise.
