I played this with my 6 year old daughter last night and she was captivated until the end. Fantastic game, highly recommended if you have kids. The following morning she was excited to play from the start again.
There aren't many I can play with her as most are too violent and what is left is too dumbed down. A short hike was a nice mix between easy to grasp controls with a simple yet engaging story with side quests.
It was also a nice bonus to have her read the dialog of the characters, so I would call this educational in a way. Win win
Very few games have left a lasting impression on her to call them her favourites and this game is one of them. Big thumbs up to the developer!
Your game also knocked mine down from the number 2 spot on itch's top paid games, and I couldn't have wished for a better game to do so.
