Can we get a Linux build?  Running under wine leaves a lot to be desired.

Is it? One of the member in Discord also play using wine when I asked about linux support and he said he could play it no problem. I will see what I can do and make a Linux build.

I don’t have a Linux system other than the Steam Deck. Been wanting to switch to Linux full time lately but I cant really develop this game if I did.

I can run it on Linux using Wine, however, the videos under StreamingAssets fail to load, which leaves errors/missing media whenever those videos are to be prompted in normal gameplay. I'm unsure of a fix for this.

EDIT: Within 30 minutes, I fixed my problem. For reference, I'm running on SteamDeck. I used ProtonUp-Qt and added this game as a Non-steam game, forced compatibility tool: GE-Proton9-22, and the video files loaded in properly.

Yep, that's the same primary problem I've been experiencing.  That and slow load times.  I'll have to try steam -- I'm not on a steam deck.

So installing vanilla steam was insufficient -- you're correct that you need a third (fourth?) party app to enable GE-Proton before it'll play the videos.  Without GE-Proton I just get a TV test pattern (rainbow bars, static), and using wine directly just displays an error message when a video is supposed to play.
