[Social Media] [Management] Looking for a reliable team to join that needs some help, paid or unpaid

Hi!

My name is Glimmer and I am interested in finding a position where I can work closely as the following positions (remotely or in-person):

  • Social Media/Community Manager/Marketing Assistant
  • Social Media Lead/Community Manager/Marketing Lead
  • Creative Director Assistant
  • Creative Director
  • Customer Service Representative
  • Personal Assistant (Helping plan/schedule/manage)
  • Other Management/Leadership-type Role

I would like to work in the same area as the team, if possible, but remotely works for me too as long as there is consistent/good communication. I currently live in the U.S., DC area.

I work as a QA Tester for a big video game company. I have not been happy with my job and require something else for my resume and something else to do outside of work that I will enjoy. I do NOT plan on quitting my job to make this a full-time position, unless I get compensation. I am looking for a part-time job (paid or unpaid).

Because I work at a video game company, I have to keep my name anonymous. I need to be able to work on a team that understands this.

A little more about me: https://twitter.com/g1immerg1rl

I love to stream and play video games in my spare time after my 9-5 PM work schedule. I love to post and read articles on my different social media accounts. I will admit that I am quite new to streaming, blogging and video creation, but I really enjoy it and put a lot of time and effort into it.

I went to school for game design (graduated with a BA, special concentration in "Gaming & Society", where I took Game Design, Psychology, and Leadership courses), but realized I have a passion for marketing/social media use instead of the nitty gritty game design parts of the industry. That said, I have experience working with Unity, Unreal Engine, Neverwinternights, Construct 2 and some other platforms. I feel like my best talents learned from school was my ability to work hard, lead others, manage others, help schedule, writing, communication and creation of ideas/design for video games.
