Description: We are looking for a 3D artist to create a sci-fi pyramid object with two rotating energy spheres nearby.

Shape & StructureBase form: square pyramid. Two energy spheres rotate around the pyramid at all times. Overall layout similar to Reference 1 (replace the cube with a pyramid).

Textures & Materials: Pyramid surface: marble-like material (see Reference 2). Energy spheres: up to the artist’s vision, but something similar to Reference 3. The color of the energy spheres should be customizable.

Animations (to be implemented in Unity, since Blender cannot properly export them):

1. Energy spheres (idle animation): Energy is in constant motion: flowing, rippling, and deforming.

2. Decay animation: The energy spheres fade and dissolve, simulating depletion.

Style & Genre:

Genre: Science Fiction.

Style: Semi-realism (similar to Bioshock Infinite).

Required Skills & Tools:

3D modeling (Blender or other modeling software).

3D animation in Unity.

Understanding of Blender/Unity import/export workflows.

Unity built-in render pipeline.

Budget: $31 USD

Deadline: 6 days

Notes: If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’d be glad to discuss project details and your suggestions.

Hi there,

Your post for a sci-fi pyramid with rotating energy spheres caught my eye what a cool concept! As an experienced 3D artist with a passion for semi realistic sci-fi aesthetics (think Bioshock Infinite vibes), I’d love to collaborate and bring this asset to life. With over 8 years in 3D modeling, texturing, and animation, I’m well-versed in creating assets in Blender and implementing animations in Unity, perfectly aligning with your project’s needs.

Here’s how I can deliver on your specs:

Shape & Structure: I’ll model a square pyramid base, swapping out the cube from Reference 1, with two energy spheres in constant orbit around it, matching the layout you described.

Textures & Materials: The pyramid will feature a marble-like material inspired by Reference 2, crafted with PBR textures for a semi-realistic look. For the energy spheres, I’ll draw from Reference 3, creating dynamic, glowing effects (e.g., plasma or ethereal particles) with customizable colors via Unity shaders or material properties.

Animations: Since Blender’s animation exports can be finicky, I’ll set up the idle animation (flowing, rippling, deforming energy motion) and decay animation (fading and dissolving spheres) directly in Unity using particle systems, shaders, or animator controllers, optimized for the built-in render pipeline.

Workflow: I’ll create the models and rigs in Blender, export via FBX or GLTF for smooth Unity integration, and ensure everything is optimized for performance and easy implementation.

I’m proficient in Blender, Unity (including import/export workflows), and tools like Substance Painter for high-quality texturing. The complete package models, textures, prefabs, and animations will be ready for your project. Your budget of $31 USD is workable, and I’m excited to dive in!

Could you share the references for a precise match? Also, any preferences on details like sphere rotation speed, energy effect intensity, or how you’d like color customization handled in Unity? Let’s chat to nail down the timeline and any specific file formats.

Looking forward to creating something stellar together!

Best,

Adam

Hello! Great, let's move to Discord to discuss the details then. My nickname: opianarius
