I'm afraid I do not have a savefile for this, but in a recent game I think I noticed that Direct Assault (https://es.marvelcdb.com/card/21105) was not discarded after the villain attacked. It was discarded when the attacked defeated an ally but I think it should be discarded after any attack, even if it does not defeat an ally.
