Hi everyone, we're a small indie team working on a story-driven cyberpunk/noir game that blends genres point-and-click investigations, dialogue-driven storytelling, and top-down action combat . The tone is dark, dystopian, and heavy on choices with consequences.
We are currently seeking 2D artists to join our project on a rev-share basis.
Our team currently includes:
Composer & co-founder (7 original tracks already produced)
Writer/Designer (full main story, quests, and dialogue outlines and NG+ story done)
Programmer (just joined!)
We’re specifically looking for a second programmer, a concept artists (to help shape characters, environments, mood) 2D Character/Environment Artists (for final in-game assets) and UI Designers (for investigative scenes, dialogue system, minimal HUD).
This is a rev-share collaboration — we have no upfront budget, but aim to publish commercially and split revenue fairly. (gotta be crystal clear on this point)
About the Game:
Genre: Narrative-driven cyberpunk mystery with action and investigation elements
Story: Follow Jonathan Gloom, a paranoid detective who navigates his way through several cases, mafia gangs and weird events in an attempt to catch the serial killer who ruined his life
Gameplay: Point & click exploration during investigations, visual novel-style branching dialogues, top-down tactical combat with cover system and most importantly the player choices affect future events and endings
Estimated length: ~20 hours of gameplay
Art style: gritty cyberpunk with neon accents, moody atmosphere
We offer a structured but flexible dev environment, full story, quest flow, and character arcs already outline, a long-term vision (release goal: within ~3 years or more we are not in a hurry, take your time), clear task division and collaborative planning and legal protection with an NDA (we'll share before sending full details)
If this sounds like something you'd want to be part of, send me a DM or reply here with a portfolio or some sample work. We’re especially open to artists looking to grow with a project and help shape its visual identity from the ground up.
Thanks for reading,
