a thing about visual novels is that they tend to have longer dialogues and scenes since thats a big focus point :,,3 makes sense if you arent used to playing many of them, it really depends on the person and what you like in a game and are used to

im not sure if someone posted this but im pretty sure if you save the scene and keep re-loading (reload save of the scene idrk how to word im- SORRY! T_T) the three days go way quicker and you basically 'skip' through it (the three days being Yuri's death- aka her body decomposing after the Yuri event). if this doesnt help, just search 'Yuri death scene ddlc' or 'how long does Yuris death go for/last (/scene/event) and go onto the reddit post. It helped me, and i sorta tried explaining here. Ill see if i can link the post im referring  to.
