I uploaded my game Drop 9 about 1.5 months ago. I’ve read the official docs on indexing, and I understand that not all games show up right away—but I still don’t know what I’m missing.

So far I’ve gotten around 153 views and 10 downloads, all from outside sources I brought in myself. But the main reason I chose itch.io was to give the game a chance at organic visibility.

I’m not here to complain—I just want to know:

• What are the real requirements to get indexed?

• Is there a certain threshold views or downloads I need to reach?

• Is there anything I can do to help the process along?

Thanks for any help or clarification. I really want to make the most of the platform.

Right now game indexing is a mess, as you might have noticed from other topics. It might be best to wait until the situation is sorted out.
