with the game fixed a few suggestions...

now that the tournament npcs are fixed and i having played the entire game id like to give some ideas in 4 different ways

  1. tournament fairness as much as i like the new npc doesn't take up half of the entire arena in 2 turns i still think them using more than 3 of the same boss gems is kind of unfair they already have a massive advantage called being able to go first so why should they have two 49s at once (yes i know there's a way to have more than 3 boss gems but I'm assuming the fact that the average players never go to the lab).
  2. multiplayer yes this seems a lil farfetched but assuming you make a sequel take it into mind.
  3. post game content  is dry at at best an endless mode of the tournament or making masters for 3 digit primes.
  4. hotkeys the game needs hotkeys 1-7 can play cards in order and space ends turn so ten i can press a button and then click a tile on the arena instead of dragging and dropping (hotkeys will be a setting so androids can play as well)

P.S. sorry for posting a suggestion on the Forums instead of replying on the suggestions page i didnt see it at the time cuz im kinda tired

Thanks for the suggestions!

  • I will consider nerfing the 49s deck.
  • Multiplayer is definitely something I'm thinking about, it's just a lot of work and I'll probably wait until I finish some other projects.
  • I will add the hotkeys  1-7. I'm not sure I want spacebar for End Turn as it is easy to press accidentally. Is the "E" key a good alternative? (To match Slay the Spire.)
  • For additional postgame content, my plan is to eventually add a Drafting tournament. I don't want to add a bunch of content above 100 because giving the player too much energy unbalances the game (e.g. 29-stone becomes too good).

Oh, actually none of the programmed half-decks come with two 49-stone. You must've just gotten very unlucky, and rolled two half-decks which both had a 49 in them!

notice how i didnt ask for an energy cap increase as there are many ways to to play tri digits in a round. two most popular ones being 13 and 43 and perhaps there are more ways to do such. as for nerfing the npcs with too much boss gems on a half deck, a good one to start on is the 4 28s deck as it has 4 7s within. alternatively you could build a primary and secondary deck for each hand making sure that checking whether or not it has too much of a gem and then rerolling a different secondary deck at least 5 times.

Good point about the 28s deck, I'll reduce it to 3 copies of 28 and change the algorithm to make all half-decks equally likely. (Previously, the 28 deck was one of the more common ones.) I might add the reroll thing as well.
