How to separate downloadable files

Hi all,

I'm new to this, I'm tinkering away at my first project.

The project is for a tabletop game with downloable stl files for each character you use to play. The rules for the game will be free, the stl files will be paid for. Currently if i set the page up for donations only for the rules and each separate stl file as $5, when you go to pay for the project and select downloadable files, it selects all the files that have the same price and charges $5 for all of them. Is there a way to separate these individually?

Sorry if this is either a) a silly question or b) been answered before

Thanks!

Hi there,

The individually priced files work in a tier system. That means is a person pays £10 to your project, they will have access to your base project plus all files with an individual price of £10 or less.

The system wasn’t designed to provide DLC, as you’ve discovered by the problem you’re having. A good idea is to have DLC on separate project pages and link them to the base game, but there’s no hard rule for it. I understand having each character in its own project page might be a bit too much work, it’s up to you to find a system that works for you.

Hope that helps, Cheers

Ah I see! I appreciate that thank you.

I'll have to come up with a work around.
