Hello I just installed this program a few days ago and every time I open it, I just get a white screen, I don't see anything else. I'm on windows 11 Thank you.
Hey again,
After doing some more research, it does seem likely that the issue is indeed another application blocking GameTranslate due to either identifier issues or another app running on the same port. I will try to change a few things tonight and create another demo installer for you to see if we can fix this issue. Thank you for your feedback. :)
Hi mate,
Could you please try to install this version;

There's a few things I could try, but without having your setup, I need to take it step by step so I don't change things needlessly that might break other things.
Please let me know if it works, if it doesn't, I'll prepare another installer for you again shortly. Thank you :)
Yes I downloaded the latest version 0.4.3 and I encountered the same issue on both the demo and full version. I installed the new installer but there is no difference. I'm using a HP Envy x360 laptop, according to the settings the processor is AMD Ryzen 5 7530U with Radeon Graphics. I don't know if that info will help. Thanks for helping!
Alright, good. Yes, thank you, all the info I can get helps! :)
Which antivirus, if any, are you using? I've tracked down people experiencing white screens due to their antivirus blocking files without the user noticing.
This could very well be the issue.
However, I have a few other settings I could adjust, I'll do it within the next hour and get another installer for you. Meanwhile, if you have an antivirus, try exempting the app or temporarily disable the program to see if the white screen disappears.
Thank you!
Hi,
Here's a new version, it uses the CPU instead of the GPU for the main base app.

I believe this is likely to be the problem, maybe Tauri doesn't play nicely with integrated graphics..
Woohoo! Awesome.
Hmm, I don't have any experience with that, but I do know that it is possible to use the app with OBS. If you managed to use the manual translation mode inside OBS while streaming - there is no reason that the real time automatic translations shouldn't work.
Thank you for helping me troubleshoot this! 馃檹馃徎
If you're not using a Virtual Machine for Windows 11, could you please download Webview2? It comes preinstalled with Windows 10 and Windows 11, but it might be broken or uninstalled for whatever reason on your PC. It is required to use the app.

After doing some research, it could potentially be another app that blocks it too. Due to identifier duplicates. Seems to be fairly common with Tauri & Qt. I'll have to look into that too.
