Hello!

I'm on Damon's route, but in the last episode there is an unclear moment with Vexx. The main character can feel attracted to him during a conversation and... what? MC can cheat on their love interest with Vexx? I don't understand this moment. I was completely sure that there is a romance lock in the game. And I definitely don't want to click this option to see the consequences. So, I would be grateful if someone could explain. Thank you.

Developer

Hi, in order for MC to feel a romantic connection to Vexx in Episode 9 you had to have chosen the following in order:

Episode 3
"We were more than friends."

Episode 5
"It wasn't your fault."
OR
"I need time to work through this."

Episode 9
"Speak to Vexx" >> "I'll be with you the whole time." >> "Acknowledge it."

If you've chosen those Episode 9 choices then they make it pretty clear that your MC is choosing to still have a romantic attachment to Vexx, if you haven't chosen them then feel free to post a screenshot here of the conversation you're referring to because it may be that you've encountered a bug/error.

I was choosing flirting options with Vexx before the final route choice (episode 5). So I was sure that with Vexx it'll continue as the usual friendship route, like with the other characters. So I "ignored the feelings". I just don't understand what the option with acceptance leads to. To cheating?

Developer

No, there is no cheating in the game.  The acceptance leads to another plot point that hasn't yet been revealed in game, so I won't be explaining it here, to avoid spoilers. If you wish for your MC to avoid acknowledging a connection with Vexx, then you simply have to choose "Don't acknowledge it."

OK. My only hope is that this unknown plot will not be related to the poly routes in any way.  Otherwise, for me personally, it will ruin the whole impression of the game.

relax

And who are you, that you decided to butt into someone else's conversation? Why should I listen to a noname? I don't need your advice, don't write to me.

i apologize for the fact that that came across as sassy as it did. i shouldve added my thoughts, which are that the pc still having feelings for someone they were in a relationship with (that ended under such extreme circumstances) makes perfect sense. whether or not it's related to the poly routes, cheating, etc. you can opt out of that choice for your playthrough and not have to worry about it at all (and not give the creators grief for it).

you def don't have to listen to me tho, im a random person who commented on your public post in a public forum

Hello there! It would be greatly appreciated if the latest comment to the other person you responded to, which got deleted by the way, isn’t discussed in the community board.

Thank you for your understanding!

I would be grateful if the developers explained their decision. Then such discussions would not arise.
