What is Memories and what is it about?
Memories is a turn-based action RPG. In this game, you fill the boots of a forgetful hero in an effort to unlock the secrets of his scattered past as you venture through distant lands to recover your memories!
Version 0.6 and 0.61
I have just released an update (version 0.61) which, coupled with version 0.6, adds a LOT of cool new mechanics to the game.
SOME of the mechanics include:
- A classic "Mode 7" look when traversing the overworlds
- LOTS of skills which can be learned through leveling up or purchasing skills using Job Points. Those skills can then be mastered to provide various benefits such as increased damage or reducing the amount of resources needed to use.
- Equipment durability, which causes you to think on your toes and make sure you're stocked up on repair kits to ensure your equipment doesn't break!
- The ability to switch between day and night; during the night, enemies are tougher but reward you more in kind. As well as this, certain actions and events will only occur at night too!
The game has also recently had a redesign to improve the look and layout of the maps. See an example below of the same map before and after the redesign :)
