Hi everyone! We are Methodox, a tech startup based in Toronto.
It’s been a long time since our first prototype, and almost a full year since we began full-time development on Divooka, a high-level general-purpose visual programming language. It works like Unreal Engine Blueprint — but our goal is to bring visual programming to everyday use! It features both a super compact dataflow context and a more verbose procedural context for a wide variety of usage scenarios. You can find some old and new demos on our YouTube.

We’re excited to share the first fully functional public release of Divooka Explore, the community version of Divooka that comes packed with features. We’re releasing this ahead of our debut at Web Summit this May in Vancouver. At the moment the focus is mostly on data analytics, but it’s already capable of some file automation tasks (see some examples here). This version works only on Windows but we are working hard on the cross-platform version.
This alpha build is freely available, and we intend to make Divooka Explore affordable for everyone in the future: https://methodox.itch.io/divooka-explore Please try it and share your thoughts! There’s still a lot to be done, and we’re actively improving our documentation — so stay tuned!
