Hey everyone! We are glad to share this transcriber tool that we’ve been developing and using. We find it very helpful when trying to take long notes in a narrative style. Whisper Transcriber is a free utility program by Methodox that transcribes audio into text using the amazing Whisper model from OpenAI.

This simple tool is for those who need to easily transcribe complex audio with OpenAI’s Whisper models. It current supports the official OpenAI API (so no sophisticated setup is needed) - in the future, I plan to support locally deployed Whisper models (which requires a dedicated GPU) as well.

Hi everyone! We are Methodox, a tech startup based in Toronto.

It’s been a long time since our first prototype, and almost a full year since we began full-time development on Divooka, a high-level general-purpose visual programming language. It works like Unreal Engine Blueprint — but our goal is to bring visual programming to everyday use! It features both a super compact dataflow context and a more verbose procedural context for a wide variety of usage scenarios. You can find some old and new demos on our YouTube.

We’re excited to share the first fully functional public release of Divooka Explore, the community version of Divooka that comes packed with features. We’re releasing this ahead of our debut at Web Summit this May in Vancouver. At the moment the focus is mostly on data analytics, but it’s already capable of some file automation tasks (see some examples here). This version works only on Windows but we are working hard to make the cross-platform version available soon.
