i'm not enraged? nor am i trying to fit in a box?/gen confusion.  I genuinely like this game! and it gave me a few spooks too -w- i just don't get why some people feel so angry about not liking a game and expect everyone to come at them with axes and pitchforks, i swear its fine to dislike a popular game despite it having built so many friendships and shaped a lot of childhoods and doing just a lot of things for people and innovating the dating sim world + popularizing faking info digging and 4th wall break, but you don't have to be a dick to everyone about it, your opinion's fine, and i get that the game's not for everyone due to first, it only appealing to mostly one or two genders, having a certain style/aesthetic and it being more stereotypical (more on a jokey tone though), plus "rage bait" to me only counts when i am actually angry, i was not baited, more-so confused, and so decided to give you attention, rage bait is only when you only attract someone who unknowingly gives you attention out of pure anger/said rage, i'm personally not angry,  plus you personally don't know me, nor do i know you, so just know "standing out" and being out of the norm and bullied for it constantly is my everyday life, (not to trauma dump, but more to inform and add onto the argument : in my country i have a very "out of pocket style + personality, voice and way of talking" and due to this i am always extremely excluded from social groups that i stopped following trends and more of what i liked and stand for it, but there's no shame in liking popular stuff either!) so i'm not afraid of that, also i didn't insult you, so i don't get the "bandwagon minded mf with no self awareness", i never denied any reality, also what do you mean by "no self awareness"?  Also what reality could i even deny, that people can dislike a game? now thats just silly :3 obviously everyone can dislike/like a game, as long as they don't harass others or insults the one who do, like you were kinda doing but eh, i guess due to me not using tone tags i did sound like a big stinky pile of shit too so i don't get to talk, I just pointed out that you sounded sour due to your attitude towards disliking a game and then acting as if everyone's gonna care and go batshit craaaaazy over it, nobody in this situation is different theres no "i'm not like the others!! i-i don't like a popular game!!" maybe you've had experiences in the past with fans of the series being mean to you so now you write comments like these to offend them and just cover it as ragebait so they can't tell that you're just upset about their behavior? If it did happen i'm really sorry to hear that, and thats shouldn't be fair to you nor anyone for that matter since nobody deserves to be treated this way, but i don't think thats really nice nor productive to post things like these, i'll try using tonetags more often so i can clear out some air, but when i posted this comment, i was more-so being jokey "oh okay" about it, also, i don't remember anybody being afraid of giving critic, i do have some critics that i'd like to make to the game, i'd recommend you just stop acting as if DDLC is a big bad mean company thats acting like a dictator where you don't have rights to have an opinion, nobody said that, really nobody did, you're entitled to your opinion as much as i am  entitled mine, but lets not be rude about them, while i shouldve said my stuff nicer and called you something else instead of sour since that obviously hurt your feelings/got you upset, you shouldn't be so angry about people liking a game and framing them of following a trend, i personally grew up with this game and it inspired me to work on my own visual novel due to its intricate story and also the first ever example of info digging games i've seen, even more in a dating simulator as unassuming as this one, the vibe, artstyle, music and story with relatable traits from sayori, natsuki and yuri and even monika had really left a mark on me and the game was overrall very great, inspiring, well told and go me to shiver just a little despite me being desensitized over the years, i'm not scared of stating that yeah, sometimes its a bit dry and i'd like to have more interactions with the characters, actually be able to write a poem myself instead of finding trigger words, maybe have more options that do more impact, have more trafficking/scary stuff that happens at the menu screen since monika IS able to control the game, outside of just removing the character's i wouldve liked if she acted more on that and a lot of other critics, but the game was overall good for me, if you didn't like it its fine, but don't insult/harass randoms over it, especially when nobody insulted you, and also just wondering, what does it help you with outside of a 1 minute validation because you saw a "(number)+" in your itch.io mailbox, and feeling validated that you've "baited" someone, plus the fact you've even "baited me" (i don't feel baited, since i willingly decided to take my time, sit down and write out of pure passion and also get to get my opinion out, i love writing and yapping so thats more like a win for me than it is for you) what does it bring you? Are you happy? Sad? mad?/gen, i genuinely want to know, since i've never felt a desire to just say something thats """outrageous""" to try and get people to look at me, i mean, yes, i do sometimes have some attention seeking behavior, but never have i tried to seek negative attention, seems pretty interesting, how does that work?
