We’re GabaGoo Games, an indie studio with two shipped titles and a tight-knit team. We’re currently working on a 4-player co-op third-person horror shooter built in Unreal Engine 5.5 — heavily inspired by Dead Space, The Outlast Trials, and Resident Evil, but pushing into our own dark territory with procedural horror, dynamic gore, and stress-based survival mechanics.

This is a gritty, system-driven co-op horror experience with an oppressive atmosphere and evolving biome-based threats. Key pillars include:

🧠 Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a Blueprint/C++ Gameplay Programmer to help implement and optimize core systems like:

Modular enemy dismemberment using Chaos & mesh slicing logic

Procedural animation systems (hit reactions, locomotion blending, ragdoll takeover)

Enemy AI behavior trees with adaptive horror elements
-
Stress and heartbeat systems that influence both gameplay and enemy responses
-
Inventory/crafting systems for mission-based survival
-
Replication (future-proofing for full multiplayer compatibility)
This role is perfect for someone who:

Loves solving strange, creative problems

Has experience with both Blueprint and C++ (replication needed)

Can test thoroughly and iterate fast

💰 Compensation
This is a rev-share position with documented terms:
