is it common/ok to periodically update a sketchbook on itch?

i recently decided to to move off of subscription services for my sketchbook work & thought i'd try itch sometime, since i see sketchbook pdfs are a thing here.

main question i had was if it would be ok to periodically update them with new pages?  at a quick glance i couldn't really tell if that was common practice.
my plan would be to keep the price (if any) the same regardless of updates.

i work across a wide variety of sketchbooks & have a specific theme for each one, so it would likely be a while before most of them are completely finished
so yea basically wondering if partial sketchbooks are ok to put up, as long as the intention is clearly described
thanks!

For whatever my perspective is worth on this: I’ve seen it done with other types of projects. Each version is offered as a separate file on the same project page.

You could do something like “ancients-sketchbook_2025-05-14.pdf” then later “ancient-sketchbook_2025-07-04.pdf” with the new pages added.
